From the Napoli baroque music scene of XVIII century, populated with bats, forest monsters and shadows, Domenico Scarlatti was destined to be an oddball keyboard master of his time. He died tragically in 1757.

About 250 years later, in the experimental broth of present time, Domenico Scarlatti -spectrally- lingers, all fantasy and electro over the hands of Antoine Souchav' and Michel Bananes Jr in transe. Like the transexual composer Wendy Carlos who brought synth to Beethoven, they venture within the mists of time, taking Scarlatti from his grave to electronics using midi technology and flannel rituals.

The result is a fresh and astonishing ghost seance for garden parties and costumes. Some people said they can see Scarlatti's face appearing over Antoine's during the show when the light touches him, but the next day their mind is lost so we do not know any more about this mystery.

Baroque Synthesis Duo

Here come Michel Bananes Jr and Antoine Souchav in costumes and wigs, making people dance on the Domenico Scarlatti’s sonatas.

With their pianist and harpsichordist background, they play a free adaptation of the original score (with analogics synths, samplers, laptops...), making a schizophrenic and dancing music, always hilarious, fast and heady, where the instrumental playing has a real importance.
